Sales Development Representative – Inside/Outside Sales and Support

Position Summary

To grow existing customers, create new customers, help meet or exceed monthly sales targets.  Provide exceptional Customer Service.

Job Description

Inside Sales Activities

  • Act as sales support resource
  • Source new and existing sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and e-mails
  • Work with Account Representatives to drive sales growth, research, qualify and set up appointments
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest and meetings
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Research, respond and process customer requests in a timely manner
  • Present price, credit and terms in accordance with company standards

Outside Sales Activities

  • Responsible for identifying, qualifying and contacting new and existing prospects within a specified territory
  • Build and develop excellent long term business relationships
  • Learn and develop your knowledge to enhance your ability to recommend alternative products/services to meet customer needs
  • Present a professional problem solving approach to customers
  • Be self-motivated to work unsupervised within a team environment

Background and Experience

Education

  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or business as well as experience in a marketing/sales support environment
  • PC proficient in Microsoft office programs

Compensation

Base Salary – you will receive a base salary commensurate with your background
Commission – you will receive a commission from your own territorial sales results as well as a portion    of the inside sales performance
Profit Share – you will, after a 3 month probation period, be eligible for the company profit sharing    program
Benefits Package – upon completion of your probationary period be eligible for our Life, Health and    Dental Insurance benefits program
